I was at Cieszyn Jazz Festival (Czech side) three days ago so these few pictures I did there is the first thing I must to take care with. Then I clenoup the old Cracow ♥ photos.. and I think I am free (to draw something). I can not promise anything - Christmas depression already knocking at my door (and it’s not snowing yet!!). Anyway.. lots of ideas, too little time. I will try (to sleep less than 10).
Devil’s head (the image above) is from the tenement house opposite the hotel where I spent the night after the concert. I do not remember the hotel name but I must admit it was funny experience. First association with “The shining”(1980) - from outside large old building, inside dark-red carpet, hotel pictures taken in 1911 on the walls.. All in all, mood as in Kubrick’s movies. Second floor, moments of excitement. We open the door to our room and.. there’s bathroom! Entrance to hotel room leads through bath.. That’s not the end of suprises - every sound echoes like we’re in a cave. It’s not certain if the whispers you hear originate from this or next room or even from ghosts. So.. super echo-bath (super loud pee) and a room with a bed (+ early 90’s tv ). Conclusion: if you ever land up in hotel in foreign country and you find your way to bathroom first, this means that the lady from the reception gives you a clear sign that you need a shower.
